Accessibility statement

Our commitment

This site aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 level AA. We test it with the same automated checks the Radar runs on client sites, plus manual keyboard and screen-reader passes. Automated testing catches a minority of real barriers, so the reporting route below matters more than the badge.

What we have done

• Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus state.
• A skip link to the main content is the first focusable element on every page.
• Body text meets 4.5:1 contrast against its background; large headings meet 3:1 or better.
• Accordions, disclosures and tabs use native buttons with correct aria-expanded and aria-controls.
• All motion respects prefers-reduced-motion. Nothing is hidden by an animation that only an animation can restore.
• Touch targets on interactive controls are at least 44px.
• Pages reflow to 320px without horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

• The radar plate and the animated register are decorative presentations of information that is also available as text. They are marked aria-hidden where they duplicate content, but a screen-reader user gets the list rather than the motion.
• Some regulator names in the marquee are abbreviations carried verbatim from the source register and may not expand on first reading.
• Third-party payment pages are outside our control and follow Stripe's own conformance.

Telling us

If something on this site blocks you, write to [email protected] with the page and what happened. We aim to reply within five working days and to fix confirmed barriers on a dated timeline, which is the same standard we hold client sites to.

Enforcement

In the UK, the Equality and Human Rights Commission enforces the Equality Act 2010. In the EU, the European Accessibility Act applies to services in scope from June 2025 and is enforced by national authorities.
